We need two scans, and we recommend you having someone help you with these scans.

If you want to try alone, attach your iPhone to a music stand, and gently move it from one side to the other in front of your face.

Scan 1: entire face

For the first scan, shape your lips as if you are playing a high note. It is important that the lips are well stretched. Scan the entire face, from chin to forehead.

For best results, remove your glasses (if you have any), and try to avoid any hair on the face and forehead. The lip area must be shaved to produce a smooth result.

We use this scan to adapt the rim to your lips.

Scan 2: mouthpiece position

For the second scan, play your instrument with a comfortable posture.

We don't need a full face scan here. One side — from chin to forehead — is enough. Make sure that the mouthpiece and as much of the shank/leadpipe as possible are visible on the scan.

We use this scan to align the mouthpiece with your face.

Export and upload the scans

Find the scans in the app's Library. Select and export them using the Export Model to STL function.

Share these files with your computer, and upload them when you order your mouthpiece.
